Website Customer Service

I provide friendly and fast customer support. No question is too small. I have many smaller businesses as clients and I am happy to help you through the process of building a website, which can sometimes be overwhelming. I will help you sign up for web hosting with Springs Hosting here in Colorado Springs, and walk you through the steps of building your new site. Read what my clients say about my customer support and their experience working with me.

Responsive Website Design in Colorado Springs

I design all my websites to be responsive websites, which means they size down automatically depending on the devise you are using, ie: desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile. More and more people use their phones to search the internet, so it’s important your site is easily viewed at smaller sizes. “In 2021, the number of unique mobile internet users stood at 4.32 billion, indicating that over 90 percent of the global internet population use a mobile device to go online.” Statista, 2/22/2022

I design my sites to display beautifully on all the most popular modern web browsers. I use premium themes that come with an amazing set of options for look, feel, functionality, interactivity, and more. Check out some of the websites I’ve designed.

WordPress Websites in Colorado Springs

I’ve designed websites using the WordPress platform for 15 year or so. It’s the most-used website platform in the world and has so many powerful options. You can also update your content yourself very easily, or I can update it for you. The included premium page builder (drag and drop) allows you to create any design you wish. It’s just a seres of rows and columns and you can lay out your page in the way that works best for your content. Plugins allow you to add additional functionality to your site. Here are a few I use all the time:

  • Gravity Forms – a powerful form builder for contact forms, applications, registrations and more.
  • Seed Prod – use it to create Coming Soon pages while the site is being built, or landing pages for different parts of your business.
  • The Events Calendar – a really nice calendar plugin that gives you many different views: monthly, weekly, daily, or a running list of upcoming events. With the premium version, you can color code events and show the most recent events coming up on your home page. Add maps to your events, photos, registration forms, PDFs and more.

You don’t have to worry about buying these plugins, they are standard with all my designs. But with the help of plugins, your site can handle anything you throw at it.

Onsite Organic SEO

I design your site using basic onsite organic SEO, so Google will hopefully find it easier. This includes a Google site map, and using key phrases strategically throughout your content, as well as creating good meta titles and descriptions. While search engine ranking cannot be guaranteed with organic SEO, if done thoughtfully, it can give you a head start on your search ranking by targeting the key phrases you wish to be found by when people do a search.

Organic SEO refers to search results that you do not have to pay for. A website optimized with organic SEO provides the search engines like Google with the best, most accurate information about who you are and what you offer, so they can better index your site. “Organic SEO can be a low-cost way to generate traffic, especially when compared to other forms of digital marketing. That’s because once you’re in the results, you don’t pay anything when people use Google to find your site.”Linkbuilder 9/1/2022

With organic SEO, less is more. You don’t want to add so many phrases that it begins to dilute their effectiveness. If you try to add too many phrases, then the search engines don’t know what your primary business is. We want to make it clear what you do, so it’s best to stick with 3-5 primary key phrases and use them throughout the site in different ways, including headlines, image names, paragraph titles, and link names.

How to Choose a Colorado Springs Website Designer

There are a lot of great website designers in Colorado Springs. I’ve designed websites since 1995 and I’ve lived here since 2000. I am a one-person company with a team of colleagues that help me as needed. My team includes logo illustrators, print graphic artists, programmers, digital marketers and paid SEO experts. I can handle whatever you need. But if you prefer a larger company with a big team that does everything in-house, that’s okay, I understand, and can recommend someone here in town.

However, if you would like personalized service, friendly and fast customer support (when you call, you don’t get a menu to punch the extension you need, you get me), someone who takes the time to listen to your needs and creates a game plan, and a professional who doesn’t mind answering a lot of questions because maybe you’ve never done this before and you’re not sure how to begin…contact me. I can help.

I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for visiting!
